The Noriko Foundation Resource Center program provides a process for the identification and development of new business ventures, which graduate from the NFRC program into commercial office space in the Prefecture, which can be drawn from a variety of sources.

Development, manufacture, and sale of export goods

The most important activity of this program is a fund-raising event which participants host with college student staff on campus at the end of the program. The purpose is “to promote your hometown (prefecture)”.

Internship Programs

This internship experience gives you unique and productive opportunities. Resource center, built in small cities and towns in Japan, is a place for you to assist and work with Japanese people over age 65 who desire to expand their business opportunities outside of Japan and share their knowledge and skills with young generations.

Involving deeply with teachers and other students on university campus, you will experience American college life while enhancing English language skills in real communications.

Yukiko Takahashi

Yukiko Takahashi had been an English teacher at public junior high schools in Hokkaido, Japan for 13 years as one of lead teachers to bring new methods and materials from overseas. After she resided to the United States in 2004, she has taught Japanese language and culture at universities in California. Currently, she teaches at Chapman University from beginner to business level. Deeply being involved in education in both countries, she has worked to connect people with global view through teaching, translating, and mentoring.
